Sunday afternoons after church are wonderful family days for us to share a meal together. We attend New Hope Fellowship Baptist Church in Springdale. I recently finished serving on the Pastor’s Advisory Council. In my spare time I love playing with our grandchildren, woodworking, working in my yard and traveling. We moved here from Louisiana in 1997 but please forgive me, I’m still an LSU fan.

“When I am not in the office taking care of my patients, in the hospital delivering babies or in the OR performing surgery, I am with my family. Since my son is a competitive swimmer, I became a swim referee to participate in the sport he loves. This keeps us busy most of the year. When we aren’t swimming, then we scuba dive as a family. We will become rescue divers this summer with a final goal of becoming Master Divers. Boating and sailing are other activities we like to participate in. We boat on Grand Lake in Oklahoma since my in-laws live there. This allows us time to spend with them as well. My wife and I hope to retire one day (not anytime soon) on a boat and cruise the coastal waterways. It seems that we are water people”.

“As a former Razorback, I was eager to return home after completing my education in Oregon. However, I am happy to keep one foot in Portland as I pursue my Doctorate of Nursing Practice over the coming year! Portland instilled in me a deep love of well-crafted coffee and all things brunch. Fortunately, it also propelled my love of running to offset my foodie habits. I’ve completed several marathons and hope to tackle an ultra-marathon next. As an DNP and CNM, I strive to provide women’s health care services with a holistic approach while utilizing the best evidence available. I believe in providing continuous and compassionate care while acknowledging each individual’s unique life experiences. Whether you’re needing an annual exam, considering contraception options, or looking for a prenatal care provider, I would be thrilled to provide you care along the way!”
